Can't blame the qb for this loss.

Milton is limited, but with McCoy out, Squirrel is the only legitimate receiver we have. We have to recruit better at WR because we need a lot of help. Most of these guys aren't SEC caliber.
Thornton hasnt lived up to the expectations

I agree. Blame the coaches. They know they are hamstrung by their qb. They are super limited in what they can do with him and that is the problem. The question is, why? Why is he the best we have?

Athletes gotta make plays and both balls were high but make a play. Burton made a behind the route catch while getting hit just to get a first down.
Lol GTFO Warren is 6'5 255 forgive him for not being able to contort his body like a WR.

271 passing and 59 yards rushing isn’t hamstrung

Yes it is. Watch every game and the play calling. If you think they aren’t limited in what they can do, due to him and his lack of talent, I’m not sure how much more obvious it is. This staff didn’t forget how to coach a very efficient offense in 8 months of off season.

As far as the redzone inefficiency goes, the pass to Warren that bounced off his fingertips is unfortunate. You could argue it was catchable & you can argue it was a bad pass -- I see both sides.

There was also a missed holding call on Warren on 2nd & goal that should've been called & given us a fresh set of downs.

Felt like we got too cute with play calls on a couple of the plays we had inside the redzone. Joe probably made some late decisions or bad throws, but I don't think the inefficiency all falls on him. Sometimes defenses make plays.

I mean holy hell, if we were told before the game Milton goes 28/41 (68%) for 271 yards & 2 TDs w/ 59 yards rushing, everybody would've been ecstatic with that output. Some of y'all keep moving the line of "acceptable play" for Milton & criticize every possible mistake. I'm not saying he's perfect & bound for the hall of fame, but his production today was fine.

I don't understand when the pocket breaks done why he does't he run the damn ball.I,m thinking he doesn't want to get hit.He should run the ball more often then what he did.

It really is quarterback man. Always is. That’s the way this game works. The biggest play of the game was the fumble 6. That’s all on him. He also missed a handful of open wrs as usual including 1 that would’ve been for a td. The issue is people are legit surprised when he plays a good half of football. It shouldn’t be that way with a 6th year qb that’s been in heupel’s system for 3.5 years now.
Fumble 6 has to be at least partially on the LT who whiffed on his block…

He left yards on the field on the mid field 4th down call, he keeps it he runs for a easy 20-30 yards

You're comparing Manning to Milton?

Even ducks are easier to catch than missiles 5 ft too high.
Comparing throws, you said elite QB have to make catchable balls. His athletes made plays for those bad ducks. Only you said Elite, not me. Joe just has to manage

Today's loss sucks, but I feel better about our offense after today. Sure we didn't get the job done in the redzone. But we didn't get any benefit of a call in our favor as well.

On a night where our runningbacks weren't able to carry the team we found ways to move the ball. Milton moved the ball well at times, both with his feet and through the air.

I actually thought JM played better than most other games this year. I don't blame him for this loss. Going for it on 4th and short is not that bad if you are on the right side of the 50 yard line. You don't do it when it gives the other team a short field for a score like we did. And you don't keep running the same play (up the middle )that has been stuffed all game . This game was poor play calling on offense, poor decisions on 4th and short, and not being able to adjust during the game

We went scoreless the entire second half. I do not feel better about our unscripted offense.

It's not all the QB's fault. It's the poor offensive play calling. We should be running the damn ball in the first place, not freaking passing in red zone! We often only needed a few yards to score. Shame on the play calling!
Totally disagree. In fact, we did run inside the red zone. we got stuffed all game. We should have been passing every down in my opinion and kept them guessing when we'd run. As it is, even Ray Charles knew we were going to run first, then again, and then pass, punt or kick a field goal
