Carl Edwards is a moron

Don't get me wrong. I love when the drivers show their emotion and clash, but I would much rather see some fist fly then a race car.

It would have been fine if he would have just loosened him up, but Brad had a top 5 in the bag and he was 155+ laps down. I'm not denying that Brad K doesn't deserve stuff from other drivers, but in this case, he didn't deserve anything from Edwards.

Or just get up beside him and put himself and BK into the wall and swear he just lost it.

I'm sure there will be drivers lining up to pay Carl's fine if one is assessed. Kyle, Denny etc. Maybe not the best move on Carl's part but they have let Tony Stewart slide for years. Be careful Helton, you might set a precedent and god forbid a Hendrick driver cross that line. We wouldn't want you to have to start making the rules as you go. Wait thats already being done. Edwards screwed up but it could bring you ratings...

Carl Edwards My options: Considering that Brad wrecks me with no regard for anyones safety or hard work, should I: A-Keep letting him wreck me? B-Confront him after the race? C-Wait til bristol and collect other cars? or D-Take care of it now? I want to be clear that I was surprised at his flight and very relieved when he walked aw...ay. Every person has to decide what code they want to live by and hopefully this explains mine.

If you are referring to Talladega, Carl wrecked himself when he tried to throw the second block. There is an unwritten rule that you can block once coming down to the checker. A second swerve leaves you open to just what happened.

It will be interesting to see what Nascar does. I'm not so sure he deserves a suspension but he needs to be on a very short leash. Fines don't hurt the drivers anymore.

That one was unquestionably BK's fault. Now are you saying that makes CE's deal yesterday ok?

Just wanted to say this is an awesome thread title. Carl was a douche before yesterday and now everybody sees the fake persona he portrays in front of the camera, which will hopefully make him an even bigger douche moving forward.

Let the bashing continue.

Very moronic to knock a guy outta the race when your 150 or so laps down.

Stupid Stupid Stupid....

Hope they let him race at Bristol. Love watching idiots like him out there.

There's a difference between getting someone swirly or turning then right after the issue in the heat of the moment at a slow Martinsville.

Obviously Carl didn't have the intent to send Brad airborne, but hitting someone going those speeds makes anything possible.

Three race probation. Wow.

Another case of Helton protecting one of the, ahem, "stars" of NASCAR. Garbage.

Carl Edwards=POS! That move on the last lap tonight was chicken ****! Anybody with eyes could see him turn into Brad and to quote a famous movie line, "if Nascar don't call it low down, you better."

I liked hearing Brad's dad say he was going to put his racing suit back on and take care of it himself.

There's a reason why Edwards and Hamlin rank at my 2 most hated list. Both have talent, but are hypocritical. Edwards is incredibly talented, but moving someone on the frontstretch is classless. I honestly can't believe Nascar let him have the win. I'm a Brad fan, but even non Brad fans can admit it was a cheap move. Hard racing in the corner or a bump-n-run is one thing, but a cheap pansy move like that was classless.

I'm sure he can retain his Nascar license. Brian K also runs an independent team in the Nationwide. I can easily see Bob entered in the 92 car at ORP.

I'm tired of this.

People Nascar said that the gloves can come off and boys have at it racing. If they don't like it they should never have changed the rules in the first place. I have no problem with beating and banging and if you have to put a car into the wall if your going for the win. Plus you got to remember the bad blood between the two and Brad K's little attempt to push Carl out of the lead earlier. Get over it people, its hard racing.

Plus you all whine and complain when drivers act conservatively and try and not stir up controversy, and when the finally do you say they need to be fined, suspended, etc.

You whine and complained to Nascar to lighten the rules on hard racing yet at the first serious example you again whine and complain. Pick a side and stick to it...

That's not hard racing. That's a guy with a few screws loose that can't let something go that should have been settled already.
