Looks like the kids knee is going to be ok. Would suck to have your 4 or 5star freshman(cant remember which he was) shred it in the first game because of some advertising on the floor.

I had a concern before the game that once the sun went down that there would be some condensation on the floor.

Hopefully the kids knee heals up quick. He was back in the game and threw down some monster dunks and a nice block, but he isnt 100% and that sticker ticks me off!!

BUT, UNC is going to be a beast when they get their crap together. MSU, in my opinion, will be alright as well. Need to get and get that outside shot going.

Good game. I was at the UT game, so I had to record this, but it was a very interesting thing to watch. I have never been able to dislike UNC, so I am happy with the result.

I agree on the sticker issue. Not the first time that someone has slipped on one of those things. Not the first time that Izzo has been extremely perturbed about it either. Appears that it wasn't a significant injury, so that's good.

As far as the game goes, it was about what I expected. When you combine the fact of it being the first game for both teams with the unusual location and circumstances surrounding the game, an uneven, off kilter game is what you get. I would say to mostly disregard the shooting percentages and turnovers of both teams, as these were compounded by the circumstances of this particular game. The Spartans looked like some of the hallmark Izzo teams. Aggressive, tough, hell on the boards. Find some scoring, and they should be fine. From the Carolina perspective, I'm sure Roy found plenty of areas that need to be addressed, namely getting beat on the boards so handily and some lapses in hustle.
