I hope Coach O does not go to USC, I really don't know why he would, it looks like they are going to go after Mike Riley and I don't think O has any connections with Riley.

this what gets me, the part about him not being gm. somethings up in la.

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- No official announcement has been made, but reports say Pete is meeting with representatives Sunday, that could throw him back into the NFL.

The town cars in front of Pete's house in Manhattan Beach speak volumes.

Seahawks CEO Tod Leiweke is in town to try and negotiate a deal to bring Carroll to Seattle.

They've assured Pete that even though he won't be president and GM. he will still be part of the decision making process for players.

I doubt the NCAA will take away two national titles.

If they find them to be dirty they might..

The NCAA did take away two final four appearances for Calimari. I know its not a NC but, I think this sets the precedent. Especially if even half the rumors are true about what went on over there. Me thinks, Orgeron wouldn't want to get involved at USC knowing what he probably knows about what went on there.

The NCAA can't take away national titles in I-A football because they don't officially award them. You might have to vacate wins, but championships are a matter of the polls, with which the NCAA is not officially involved.

I.e., you don't win the national championship in football when you win the "BCS title game." You win it when the polls come out and you're #1.

Is the NCAA not in charge of the BCS?

Let me rephrase that, aren't they in charge of the BCS and aren't certain polls obligated to pick the BCS winner as #1? I thought that was the deal.
