He also convinced his board that USC's class wasn't materially different from ours. Of course this was before NSD, but even then we had a better class. They didn't know about toots, thought we MIGHT get wright, and laughed about harris thinking he'd been kicked out of school. Punks.

That means he won't be eligible till 2020 right? I think him bulking up for a year and learning the defense would be nice. If he can get up to about 205-210 he would make a damn good hybrid LB/S

As a blueshirt, he could enroll in May, be placed in scholarship once fall camp starts, be immediately eligible, and count towards the 2020 class.

All of that depends on him earning good enough grades to get into school, though. If he doesn’t, then he won’t count against the 2020 class and will probably either go JUCO or to whatever D1 school will take him.

We can Blueshirt him without exposing ourselves to the loss of a spot if he doesn’t qualify.

He can still play this coming year, as long as he gets in.

FWIW, Hubbs on Knox radio last week said that it’s probably not going to be until his grades come out in May that we’ll know anything more.

Nobody will no anything until he shows up on campus. You'd think people would be prepared to not hear a word after going through this with JJ, but i guess not
