He played in 2021 and had some success but had a really bad MCB. Injured early in 2022 and missed the rest of the season. Was behind Hadden, JL, and Slaughter this year. But was getting some playing time late in the season. If he did it wasn’t much. I was thinking he got a lot of experience as a freshman then possibly an injury then never played much afterwards
Yep when folks say things like trash player it really is childish. Just because a player isn’t maybe sec elite doesn’t make them a trash player. Several good players playing on lower levels that aren’t power 5 players but are good ball players in their own right. So while many players might not reach their desired level or maybe not quite good enough too play at the highest level doesn’t make them a trash player. Most folks calling players or coaches trash probably wish they could half as good as that person is. GBOThis is an annoying take. Burrell may not have wowed us during his time here, but he did spend it here. It's not his fault his talent level wasn't up to par with our fanbase expectations. He tried his best, and isn't burning any bridges like some have before. A "thanks for your efforts, good luck on future journeys" is plenty nice to say.
Is that base salary for CB's because $141K seems high for someone that got torched.
Maybe Liberty Mutual plans to dress him as the Statue of Liberty holding the torch.
I long for the days a kid had a dream of playing for "one" college, their favorite. Now it's about who can show the money. I hate every minute of it!
It begins . . .
I on the other hand, long for the day that posters have a complete fact set before making posts without it. This thread is full of opinions made without that. Do we even know if this was before or after his season exit interview CJH referenced the other day? Do we have any reason to believe it was his idea, staff idea, or joint decision? All kinds of potentials. Sadly some just cannot resist the desire to post snarky crap on these boards.I long for the days a kid had a dream of playing for "one" college, their favorite.
