Dooley actually pulled them off pretty well. It's too bad his coaching skills didn't match his fashion skills. Not sure CBJ has that kind of swagger. Just like spandex, they aren't for everyone.

I want NO remembrance of Dooley. Therefore, no.
That'd include the VFL program, I have to dissagree a little bit with ya. He didn't get the job done on the field... and I am NOT taking up for the guy, just saying he did do some good while he was here

I know this is a completely irrelevant off-season thread, so don;t flame me for that. I'm just interested to see what VN has to say about this.

Are you in favor of CBJ wearing the famous orange pants on the sideline?

Personally, I love them, and i'd like to see CBJ wearing them, especially if he can right the sinking ship while wearing them. However, I can also see those who are in the mindset that Dooley sullied the pants' image when he sucked in them. SO what do you think?

Does Saban wear red pants? Does Miles wear purple and yellow pants? Does Muschamp wear blue pants? No No No No No.

I liked them, personally, because it was something different. Similar to Jim Tressel and his sweater vests, Al Golden and his neckties, etc. But, it's too much of a reminder of the old regime for me. I could care less what CBJ does as long as he wins.

So you want us to mimic what other coaches are or aren't doing? Pretty weak, IMO.

The Orange Pants aren't Dooley's. That's like saying you don't want them to run thru the T, because Dooley ran thru the T.

Our colors are orange and white. Many of our coaches over the years (and not just in football) wore orange pants.

It's our color. Get over it.

You are all retarded. He should definitely wear the orange pants, but only for big games. Dooley did not originate the orange pants and I don't care who you are- when he first began wearing them you couldn't help but fear the pants.

You idiots need to get over Dooley and focus your attention on something that matters. Enough is enough.
