reminds me so much of dooleys loss to lsu in 2010. almost but not quite. we got to rebound from this.

In what way did that loss remind you of the LSU loss? Not saying it didn't, but I in no way did I think, my dear God our coaches are disorganized idiots after tonight's game... quite the opposite.

The LSU loss was a coaching blunder and felt like we may never get another chance. Based on the emotion at the end of todays game and the locker room interviews, it appears this loss just made them mad and hungry. That's my take away. I'm extremely proud of Worley as I have questioned his ability as loud as anyone. Pig was stellar and I don't fault him at all. He truly gave his all tonight. Team 117 grew up tonight. I believe we will see a different team the rest of the season.

What I was meaning, UT unranked and an underdog to a Top 25 team, brings one down to the wire and loses. Chance to get the signiture win but we fall short. Im not saying the way that we lost reminded me of it just the same scenario. Heres to hoping Butch gets that signature win. Proud of them Vols and this coaching staff

Butch is the one, bank on it. Love seeing him care about our team and losing.

I'm glad to see that Bajakian is very capable of calling good plays in the clutch, particularly with all the complaints about being "vanilla" and "predictable." The whole 4th quarter, particularly the 4th down calls, as well as the OT calls were stellar.

No, that was the program on its way down (although we didn't know it at the time). Today's loss was the program on its way back up. The future looks bright with all the FR making plays on both sides of the ball (Sutton, North, Croom, J. Smith, Vereen, Reeves-Maybin, Branisel).

I seem to recall that was more a sloppy game by both teams, rather than a herculean effort by a young squad.

Yeah...he was literally wiping tears from his cheeks just as he was walking out of the end zone headed into the tunnel.

Not sure if the tears was because he let down his players by telling them if its close in the fourth they would win or if it was the cheers from the fans as his family was walking off the field. Either way butch and players needs to hold there head high. It was a great team effort by everyone involved. The wide recievers ran better routes today. Worley threw better passes.
