This isn't true. But, it's not the point anyway.

The double standard is that muschamp is a raving lunatic while butch is showing passion and has fire in the belly when exhibiting this behavior

Taking the Orange Tinted Glasses off... I would agree with your post tbh.

Who is this "we" you speak of? Only reason I don't like Muschamp in this respect is he does it to his own players. I'm honestly not sure if I've ever seen Saban go off on his players like that but I've seen him do it to the refs plenty of times.

sorry don't know how to embed this...but to give you context bama was up by like 28 on ole miss and mccarron was the back up. mccarron threw to jones in triple coverage and saban called a time out and walked out into the middle of the field and that is where this starts. personally, i like when the coaches are on top of the players. to me the only difference is muschamp actually looks crazy. but i would much prefer coaches going crazy on the sideline than looking lost or like they dont give a **** that the team is messing up.

No double standard.

Its because muschamp carries himself like an indignant psycho douche all the time. That's the difference. I'd say that if he were our coach it's so bad.

For the record, yes it is a double standard; I just like posting pictures of Muschamp with that "I will track down your children and cook them in cranberry gravy" face.

On second thought. It's no double standard. Muschamp is crazy and cooks children in cranberry gravy.

the LSU guy needs to do some editing to this. Some red eyes and fire coming out of his mouth. Or maybe just his head exploding at the end.

That and Muschamp has literally attacked his own at times not by yelling but literal attacks. He even attacked his own assistant and had to be separated from doing more during a game by other assistants. Though Muschamp has calmed down quite a bit from when he first arrived, he still owns the "SEC's Most Psychotic Coach" category and there's no one who comes close or is even worthy of an honorable mention.

As to the Tiny comment*(made by another poster)...

Tiny wasn't responding to others trying to calm him down. Jones got in his face after others failed and may well have saved Tiny from himself and the team from suffering the needless loss of a much needed player/major penalty.

My guess is that Muschamp was told by the AD to calm down a bit. That is something that older, more influential boosters do not like. I even had a fan next to me who criticized CBJ when he got his. I didn't think CBJ did anything different than other coaches, and I even got a text saying that it wasn't that bad.

Muschamp's outburst during his first year when we played them in the Swamp was outright embarrassing. They got called for several defensive holds, and it was almost hard to watch. I would have been ashamed if I were a UF fan that day.

Hogwash.

Ive seen so many who love butch for it.

Ive seen so many be critical of c. Martin on the basketball forum for being reserved.

If it's your guy, you like it. If it's the other guy, he's a whiny ass.

If he wins, its because of his passion. If you lose, its because he's a hothead.

If the coach is reserved and you win, he's calm under pressure. If you lose, he's too laid back.

Butch and muschamp are peas in the same pod. It's ok

I agree with some of your statements. If you aren't successful, people find faults in your manner of coaching.

I am an intense person, and I understand the passion. But I will not back down from my statement that Muschamp is on another level. I agree that he and Butch appear to be similar, but I could not believe that tirade that Muschamp displayed in 2011. Don't really care if you disagree- you have that right and you will defend your coach.

What I see is a coach with passion for his players and the game . . . a coach with passion and heart will get respect with the players, fans and ref's . . . I've coached . . . give me 11 players with heart and drive and they will produce winners!

Surround the players with coaches with heart and drive and you will have a team that excels!

CBJ has passion for his players, UT and the game . . . . that is what I see in this picture!

GO VOLS!!

You got to be ****ting me Flatlander... Look at the .gif file that is posted a bit earlier of your coach losing his freaking mind. So you're ok with how he is treating "his players" on national TV? Being passionate is one thing. Slamming the clip board and screaming at the ref is different than what I just saw from you’re coach.

The player's and recruit's families saw that. What kind of parent would want him coaching their son? This type of action may be acceptable behavior in a Gator’s world, but not where I come from.

I don’t care what you say or do around here, but you hit a nerve trying to justify this **** and comparing him to Butch…. Post what you got on Butch verbally and physically assaulting his staff and players and we can go from there.

Later,

I'm not defending muschamp. He's a hothead. No doubt about it.

I'm just not embarrased by it and don't care if he wins. If he turns into the Rutgers basketball coach, then that changes things

Oh, stop.

His players love him.

Butch does verbally go after his players and staff. There was footage they showed during a telecast of him doing it in practice.

They are football coaches. If you are a male in this country and participated in any sport beyond a YMCA level, you have had things said to you that would make a marine drill sergeant blush.

How many times have you saw Muschamp on the sideline when he did not look like a rabid baboon who's last banana got hid in a barrel of dildos?

I agree--Muschamp is a raving lunatic while Jones has passion and far (that's how we East Tennesseans pronounce fire) in his belly.

i can't help but laugh at this. all i can do is imagine an actual baboon, pissed off, wandering through a zoo destroying everything in sight.
