Am I the only one that thinks our offense is going to be the weak link this year? I'm trying not to read too much into it, but I was so unimpressed with the offense yesterday at the O&W game. The D-line (our D line that is - imagine bama's) was in the backfield all day. The O-line is more used to pass protecting I feel. The few good runs Neal had, he really had to bust some moves to get the yards. We looked so-so at QB and the overall demeanor of the O didn't seem anywhere near the D's. I feel like this year's O could be last year's D; lost in a new system.

Also, it's just weird watching every play be some sort of read-option roll out of the pocket crap. Hopefully it grows on me. It was cool to see the O line up and snap the ball so quick. Thoughts?

As far as the oline, Tiny didn't even play and it was a scrimmage! I'm not worried about CBJ offense, I'm worried about replacing a QB and two WR that were the bulk of the most prolific offense we've had in a long time. Let summer practice play out, get the freshmen in here and we will look much better in August than we do now. Will that mean we will be good enough to beat good teams? Will have to wait and see.

I'm not worried.....

If you got a good defense you will always be in the ball game.

And I think we will have a good defense.

One of our o-lines strengths has always been pass blocking. I felt like if anything our d-line has really improved. Mcullers was driving people into the back field no matter who it was.

McCullers has apparently been working his ass off. Seen him at the autograph table with no pads, dude is looking in shape! No gut, arms looking ripped, could have a monster season.

He could be our Jesse Williams this year.

For all the silliness, we're going to miss Tyler Bray for a bit.

They made some throws that looked terrible and had a few balls batted down and I looked at my buddy and said "I hate it, but Bray would've made that one."

The kid may not have won a lot of games, but he damn sure came close when it came to throwing the rock.

I agree looks like he is putting in the work. I'm glad to because we need him to be a beast this year.

That defense was 4th nationally. Big Dan Williams, Rico McCoy, Dennis Rogan, Robert Ayers, Demitrius Morley, most important being John Chavis....that defense was pretty damn good.

More like we had Eric Berry in 2008 and no offense.

He did everything for that defense.

Did you miss last years orange and white? Our offense was even worse. How did that turn out?

Plus, our 3 inside on defense (McCullers, Couch, and Johnson) are one of the better combos in the nation. So I'm not shocked if we set the world in fire. And Hill had 18 carries for over 100 yards. That's over 5 a carry, not bad.

Not saying we're BCS worthy, but I think we're good enough to make a bowl and surprise a few teams.

Defense is always better than offense in spring games. Plus BJ didn't want to unload the entire playbook on a spring game - it was very vanilla on purpose. It also could be that our Defense has or will improve and the Offense will struggle a bit with a new QB, new WRs, and a new system. Relax, OP.

I honestly think Dobbs ends up getting the job, and maybe splitting it with like ferguson or peterman, so im not gonna judge the offense until some of the 2013 recruiting class gets to the university.

It also killed me when the refs would call the play dead as soon as the QB was touched. I understand why they do it of course, but I would have really liked to have seen what Peterman could do after that spin move. As such a huge part of what the offense is going to be about, it was a shame we couldn't see more of it.
