Bama is projected in at 10-2 but Tennessee now must beat Georgia to make it in. How does that make sense?

”I have said all along that Tennessee would have to beat either Alabama or Georgia to earn a CFP berth, but with Texas A&M still in play, the Volunteers may very well have to beat Georgia when they travel to Athens on Nov. 16. We should have a better idea whether that is must-win for the Vols by then.”

Given we won the head to head, I can’t imagine Bama gets in over us. Also A&M still has LSU, Texas, and SC. I think they go 1-2 in those

So, we basically have to win the SEC regular season title to make the playoffs?
Very possible. There’s probably going to be multiple teams who finish with two losses, and “winning” the tiebreaker to go to the SECCG will be no great prize. Losing it would almost certainly mean missing the playoff in favor of another team who just sat at home that weekend.

Slim chance Bama wins at LSU.

I agree that they are overrated. But I see them in the playoff if they finish at 10-2.
Who you got this week Missouri vs Bama? I actually think Bama since it’s in Tuscaloosa.

BIG 12 should never have more than 1. The best PAC and Big 12 schools left for bigger conferences. They shouldn’t be awarded 2 teams from a weak conference.
