CBS to Announcers: "Stick To Sports"

Good. I lost all interest in baseball a few years ago during the World Baseball Classic held in Cuba and the announcers couldn’t stop extolling they virtues of the Castro brothers.

The NFL is rapidly approaching “tune out” territory for me.

I've been sports starved so I've been watching things that I normally don't...even watched the Premier match yesterday between Liverpool and Leeds

i turned on NFL today this morning and all they were talking about was social justice stuff. They were showering the moment of unity with praise as if they had accomplished something. so dumb. turned it off

Do like us degenerate gamblers do. Just watch it without the volume and go on bathroom breaks when they show something you don't want to watch.

No need to virtue signal to everyone to let us know how big of a "patriot" you are.

As i said in the various thread, and i personal can't emphasize this enough,i can usually tolerate the SJ stuff (as i did in 2016). But if you combine that with the dystopian atmosphere due too Covid 19[84] (thats an another topic in an another thread), it's too darn much for me personally right now. Because the whole everything sucks narrative/atmosphere is literally an hazard to my overall health.

I can only assume CBS is predicting loss of viewers if politics continues to be inserted into the game.

And, CBS is correct...fans don't want to be reminded of it during a sports broadcast.
Yep..... it has with me..... I still plan on watching the Steelers play tomm but I was out running around today and realized I hadn’t watched a single minute or checked a single score.
