CCM Boo'd at TBA

For some reason that made me think of when Michael Scott booed the lead in Andy's play, and then Darrell booed Michael.

Lol it was funny to me

Right and that's what I assumed you meant, and not once have I heard that this year and I've been to a few games.

Yeah I doubt they've booed him. If you cared enough to show up for a late tip on a Wednesday night with bad roads in single digits temperature then you are less likely to boo IMO.

We are talking about a "crowd" booing. Not a person. Never heard the crowd boo BP. There's a difference in booing and booing an individual. I have never heard Cuonzo booed by our crowd either fwiw. Although I must admit I've missed the last few home games.

I boo'd him. At home and the arena. I can only watch two guards pass the ball back and forth for 30 seconds for so many possessions.

Edit: I was booing his offense, not the man. Liked Bruce.

Dang.. Just saw you're crowd comment. While I wasn't the only one I wouldn't have called it a crowd.

They lose the next two away games when they return for SC at home there may be some folks unhappy. By the way anyone know the attendance at the Ole Miss game? From TV it looked like a lot of empty seats.

This is what you get when you hire a SEMO caliber coach to coach in the SEC. Same as hiring a La Tech coach to coach football in the SEC. The last remnant of the Hamilton disaster.

Been to six home games this year, the last 4 people have booed. Just walking out after Games you can hear people trashing Cuonzo. Students were planning signs and to boo at upcoming games. Should be interesting.

Y'all booing the coaches or the team isn't helping the team at all let's be supporters it's only gonna get worse if we boo and btw I did hear the boos and that was the first time I heard it I have season tickets

While I believe everyone should support the team reguadless of how bad things are, but I also believe if your spending your hard earned money on a failing product you should be free to express your anger at the product

I don't understand people defending this clown. I boo him everytime I remember that he is our HC. The product he puts on the floor sucks, even in wins.

Boring coach, boring play. Way too talented to be on the fence every year.

I support the team. But I boo the coach. There's a difference.

What agenda?

You really don't think every single coach in D1 has been boo'd at some point in his career?

I'm pretty sure K was boo'd in his third year, maybe his 4th to(why aren't we in the NCAAT?, they said, through yellow, crooked teeth). But then a transformation happened and the rest is history.

Did you boo Cuonzo last year when he blew out Kentucky by 30? You found that boring? How many coaches have that type of win vs UK on their resume (also positive record vs UF)?

First of all Satchel is not a great name. Try again.

Second - had I been there I would have booed everyone involved in the second half against T AM.

Third - I was there and cheered everyone involved against Ole Miss and Virginia.

Fourth - If a UT coach is booed that is more a reflection of the quality of the coaching than anything else. We have a very knowledgable fan base - They booed Derek Dooley, Wade Houston, and others. If your coaching is sub par - you are going to get booed. If your coaching is average or above - you are not likely to be booed.

It's a simple formula - good coaching - cheer
bad coaching -- boo
average coaching -- neither cheer nor boo

Any more questions?

I haven't heard CCM boo'd, but at the Arky game when they went up by 7 or so in the 2nd half, a guy in the section behind me stood up during a timeout and yelled "Bruuuuuce" at the top of his lungs.

IMO, regardless of whether you think CCM is "the guy" here long term (& I don't), there's no place for booing him or yelling "Bruuuuuce" during the game. Unless, of course, we're ever fortunate enough to have CBP introduced at the beginning of a game as our head coach.

Please give specific examples when CBP was booed in TBA. I don't recall such an incident.

Example was already given by someone else - he was booed many times when he put his son into the game.

Except you make the choice to spend your money. That's like if I complained charities haven't cured cancer despite all the money I've donated. Don't give if you don't like it, but don't make the whole fanbase look like crap by booing.
