CCM Boo'd at TBA

I don't 'boo'...its too impractical....it leaves too much to interpretation, IE, who or what is it intended for and why?

And yes I grasp the irony of posting an idea like that on a site like this...kinda like starving people in Africa looking up recipes on marthastewart.com

Y'all booing the coaches or the team isn't helping the team at all let's be supporters it's only gonna get worse if we boo and btw I did hear the boos and that was the first time I heard it I have season tickets

Thanks. That was the reason I asked. I was there...but it didn't register in my mind that they were booing until I read that article. Poor guy.

He was chewing gum like a boss on the big screen while they were booing. I've never see a man chew so violently.

incessantly booing like Vandy fans do is embarrassing. Nothing wrong with booing bad effort on the court and/or coaching moves.
That's part of the deal when you are playing or coaching at this level. And people seldom boo others' best effort.

While I believe everyone should support the team reguadless of how bad things are, but I also believe if your spending your hard earned money on a failing product you should be free to express your anger at the product

I think it would be better for the program for you to stay home not go to the game. Don't add to the problems that the team members who represent my university are experiencing. Attendance is more important to the athletic department than booing.

yeah. Don't dare spend your time and money to watch an inferior product while not being entertained by letting out a boo because it makes things worse.

give me a break. Wussification of America continues. If you aren't mentally tough enough to handle a boo for playing/coaching terribly or for lack of effort, take your game to jv intramurals

I was at the game and heard it, but thought to myself "surely that's not boo's", writing it off as something I mis-heard like when fans would say "Brrruuuuuuuuce" and it sounded like boo's.

However, in the below article it references the boo's. Anyone else hear them? That's the first game I've been to since Virginia. Have the fans been booing him in recent home games or is that the first?

I never liked booing the Vols or our coaches. I don't believe it makes them play or coach better and it would discourage recruit prospects from playing for the school. The only positive you can get from booing is to make yourself feel better, but it doesn't help the team whatsoever. IMO.

I haven't heard CCM boo'd, but at the Arky game when they went up by 7 or so in the 2nd half, a guy in the section behind me stood up during a timeout and yelled "Bruuuuuce" at the top of his lungs.

You sure that wasn't you?

I would love to have Bruce back, but it isn't going to happen. At least as long as Jimmy Cheek is here. We are playing at a mediocre team level now, but I am going to support the team come hell or high water.

Example was already given by someone else - he was booed many times when he put his son into the game.

Glad you mentioned that - I booed almost every time S. Pearl was inserted. I wasn't specifically booing either Stephen or Bruce - but the bad coaching decision - putting in S.Pearl while Maymon rode the pine.

I think I will boo that again as I type this --- just for good measure.

And here's a boo - for all of those who think it's never appropriate to boo. Most of mine are reserved for the officials and the other team, but I reserve the right to boo if I see something offensive.

I was there, there were people booing. I know you hate to think that's possible, but I swear to it.

I was there too and didnt hear any of it........of course I didnt sit as close to chris as u did lol...........I have never really heard booing at any of tenn games until fans get overly frustrated at how a season is going......I dont boo at the games but our coaches and players cant be fragile about it.....they have to buck up.

been to every home game since Tusculum since I am a student. Always stand in the rowdy section behind the goal because it is the most exciting. Haven't heard a single boo directed at anyone but the refs and Marshall Henderson
