Absolutely. Love the fact that Pearl put us back on the map. His enthusiasm and high intensity was great for the program. Will always like Pearl. I've really grown to like CCM too. Love his no nonsense, down to business, cool demeanor. He doesn't give any bulletin board material for other teams or anybody else for that matter. I think he is proving to be what the program needed during this transition. I hope CM is has tremendous success and his here for a long time.

Heard CBP on a radio show earlier this week and the caller asked if he would ever consider coming back to UT. He said it wasn't fair to CCM to speculate on that and he thought he was doing a great job. Despite how it all ended, Pearl put Tennessee basketball on the map, someplace where it hadn't been in years. You can't take that away from him. CCM picked up the leftovers, malcontents, walkons (and one prize recruit) and molded them into a top notch junkyard dog basketball team. They should make the tournament and no one will want to play them.

He's not the editor of this news outlet, deciding to jump into the fray whenever he feels like it. What did you want him to do when the reporter asked him a question? Say ... "uhhhh, I'm not the coach anymore so I have no comment".

The man makes comments probably every day, like every ex-coach in college BB history. Editors choose whether it has enough hype to make a $$$ off it or not. Pearl made a humble comment that BECAME "news" due to OTHERS.

Sometimes I wonder if people can separate reality from the medias framed "reality".

BP is also a basketball analysist now, as most know. I listen to him on Sirius channel 91 lots. So he is suppose to state his opinion and in this case it's classey and proper .
