CCM is the 9th best coach in the NCAAT...

Great... We get to hear how our 3 coaches have scored the most points in their playing career than any other coaching tandem.

Personally, I'd rather have a coach that can coach worth a lick than one that was an okay player in their day. Call me crazy.

I still can't get past the fact that going into this season we had 3 talented, experienced players in Stokes, Maymon, & McRae. So now we're doing a play-in game for the honor of being, drum roll please, ...an 11th seeded team? What is wrong with this picture??

What is wrong is that people keep dwelling on it. They have the chance to do something about it. No one will care that they played in the First Four if they get a chance at Duke.

Whew at first I thought that meant "as being a coach" then I noticed it was "as his playing career." I thought for a minute CBS was drinking the Martin kool-aid.

Stats are for losers

And for winners.

Without stats, you wouldn't know who won or lost, because each team's score in every game is considered a stat.

Win/loss records are stats. Number of SEC and NCAA championships a team has won are stats.

Without stats, sports would be meaningless.

Some of you guys act like we were a freaking super power in the world of college basketball when Bruce Pearl was at Tennessee. We didn't win nothing under BP he was just a little more flashy with better talent. Half of this fanbase so silly it's not even funny. Here we are about to make our first tournament appearance in 3-4years and we can't even get our heads out of our butts to support our basketball team! Then we wonder why they play uninspired at times. Its like everytime you come on here "fire CCM","bench Maymon","re-hire Bp" or Stokes is over-rated! To be honest we really need to just get on for the ride and just enjoy these next few games!

Powerhouse no. A glimpse at a chance to be a powerhouse and better than where we were, YES. That's all these people want. To be ranked again. To not have to worry if we are going to make the tournament of 68 teams. 68! That means the past two years we haven't even been the 68th best team. And this year we are like 66. Unacceptable. I won't pay to watch that.

This might be the best post I've seen on here in a while. They complain about making the tourney and then we make it and they complain about the seed. Was I disappointed about how some of the season went? Yes, but I'm getting the f over it and enjoying our chance to possibly make a run. Geez my pregnant fiancé is less moody and less whinny than 1/2 of y'all on here.

Point guard, point guard, point guard, we needed a true experienced point guard. Maymon played his heart out but was extremely limited with his knees. That's why when Barton plays well we don't lose. McRae can have a off night & we still will win as long as that # 1 spot is playing solid. Coach Martin is a good coach, that is Extremely respected by other head coaches. Folks we scored 14 second half points against the # 1 team in America & it still took those refs for the gators to edge off the win. Barton is a # 2 guard that can light it up, but when he plays well at the point this team won't lose! Do you think the gators would want to play the Vols again in this NCAA tournament or duke?

Well we are not a super power in football either. I guess the athletic department should have saved some money and kept CDD around. After all, since we are not a super power why strive for that kind of success?

And for the record I'm thrilled that our beloved Vols are in the tournament. I hope they make a run and get a shot at Duke. And I'll be disappointed if we get blown out by Iowa.
