SEC if they expand will take a combo of 2-4 of UNC/Duke/NC State and UVA/Virginia Tech.
Florida St/Clemson/GaTech will only be looked at if they go to 24 teams if the BiG does
Miami and Kansas are the longshot fill ins if the others go to the Big ten

It could get so large that the SEC East and SEC West could split and become two separate conferences

It's being said that when Geoff Collins was fired as GT head football coach and Todd Stansbury was fired as GT Athletic Director they were escorted to their cars and they weren't allowed to go back to their offices.

WVU is a tv deal loser. They provide no tv market. The SEC has to find teams with Metro tv markets, preferably multiple metro areas like UNC and NCSt.
or VA Tech and UVA (UVA is a terrible cultural fit).

The upper ups at Georgia Tech are going to look like idiots if Georgia Tech goes 6-6 and goes to a bowl game after firing Geoff Collins and the GT AD Todd Stansbury.

Kansas still has hopes of going to the BIG 10. They feel they have everything they need (location, AAU status, outstanding basketball) except for decent football. Beginning in 2023 they will begin football facilities projects with a low-ball estimate of $350M.

Kansas sees themselves as a Midwest school. They will aim for the BIG while most likely remaining in the BIG XII.

Too many things going against the PAC right now. The PAC would have to add more than Kansas to make it work plus the PAC (as a viable conference) is on shaky ground. There's more schools interested in leaving the PAC than there are schools looking to join. The PACs exclusive negotiation window with ESPN and Fox is now closed without Fox making an offer.

The Big 12 should invite Iowa State also they're good in football and basketball.

I'm not sure.
Do you think GT sniffs 6 wins with Collins as the coach?
I feel like the trajectory was down for the season until the house was cleaned.

I could see GT beating Virginia,Virginia Tech and a floundering Miami. You're right but it my opinion it will look bad.
