My Prediction for the Postseason record of the SEC will be 9-3 with losses in the Texas Bowl,Birmingham Bowl and Gasparilla Bowl.

Keep Vanderbilt.
Dump Missouri and bring back Sewanee

Yeah, they might underperform but Vandy is a traditional SEC school. They have more historical claim than even something like Georgia which came in the 60s I think. I have no opinion about South Carolina and Arkansas, as they were already here when I started paying attention, but Missouri and A&M were questionable additions, and Texas and Oklahoma are even crazier.

Someone said in another thread Miami and FSU lobbied to join at one point. At least those teams make sense geographically. It seems to me southeastern conference schools should maybe be in the southeast but I suppose there are other things in play that some feel matter more than the name making sense.

Georgia was a charter member of the SEC.
