There isn't some magical mystique about playing at Florida. The truth is, it's hard to win anywhere on the road in the SEC aside from the bottom dwellers. Since 2003, there have been some games we should have won down there, but it's not exactly shocking that we didn't during that time period either. We've lacked mental toughness in many years, anything resembling an offense in several of the years, complete lack of coaching acumen in most of the years, and in some years we were severely overmatched in talent.
- we didn't know it yet, but we were in the beginning stages of one of our most disappointing seasons of all time. We couldn't do anything offensively
- we had about 3-5 players on our roster that would have played at all for Florida that year, namely Eric Berry
- we didn't have a lot of talent and Florida was #1. We hung tough but looked an awful lot like Kiffin was playing for a moral victory
and 2013 - we had Dooley and some of the least talented rosters maybe ever
- Blew a late lead. Super painful to even talk about that one. Definitely should have won this one.
- we didn't win a game in the SEC that year, so not exactly a surprise that we didn't win in the Swamp
- To be honest I don't even remember this season. Looking through our roster, we had some talent. But we also had Pruitt
- we had just been gutted in the transfer portal and were still reeling from Pruitt. Heupel was in his 4th game at UT.
