They love to discuss quirky qualities of prominent players, especially to a national championship game audience that has a larger % of people in it who don't normally watch football. There are a ton of people watching this game for whom it's the first CFB game they've watched all year. That's probably the 10th time I've seen a bit about his meditation routine during a Michigan game the last 2 seasons.
