They made it to the Final 4, but they shouldn’t have lost this game . They had the easiest path playing basically 2 mid-major programs and choked against IMO a lesser team. I don’t think getting to this level takes the pressure off of him going into the offseason.

Penn State is the ultimate bully program - great record achieved by beating up on teams they're supposed to beat, and because the Big 10 is a joke conference with one great program and a couple more good ones (Oregon, maybe Michigan), they only play one or two tough games a year, which they lose.

They get a ridiculous spot in this absurd playoff bracket after losing their CCG with a free ride into the semis (which the national media conveniently ignores), and then they lose to a good (but overrated) but hobbled Notre Dame team that they should have owned with their alleged talent.

Now they lose the only legit talent they had (Carter, Warren, Singleton) and the mediocre QB returns. If Franklin isn't in trouble now, the Pedo State faithful will be burning a cross on his front yard after next season.

I’d like to see Texas lose in the most agonizing way possible, whether it’s tonight or in the championship game.

I'll be very surprised if the game ends up close tonight. A motivated Ohio State was always by far the best team in the country despite Day, and they got their wake up call against Michigan.

Ohio State by 2-3 scores (at least) tonight and next week.

You basically told my story. I loved Rudy when it came out in 93, which was the same year that they played FSU in South Bend. I had my Notre Dame hat and I hated FSU, but was a fan of Bobby Bowden. Once I started to really get into college football my affinity or respect I had for the Irish diminished. I loved it when Leinart scored in 2005 to win.
I can relate sir, and while I will never be an Irish fan in the maturation of my college football fandom, I can see a bit of resemblance of Bowden in Freeman. I do honestly feel like he is a good person. Obviously, I didn’t personally know Bowden and will never know Freeman, but I feel like I would have at least an inkling of doubt if Freeman were a morally inept person. He too feels like a person I can respect and admire.

Sorry. I tried very hard, but there is just no scenario whatsoever where I can bring myself to pull for Ohio State, Penn State or for that matter any Big 10 school. Sorry, but go fake UT just for this one game.
I find myself in a similar position. I’m not sure I can stand to see Texas win a National Championship, especially in their first season as an SEC member, but I also can’t stand tOSU.

I’ve determined that I’ve no allegiances in this game, so I’m just hoping for an entertaining game. I do honestly think tOSU is about to demolish Texas, but I’ve been wrong many times before.

I’m just going to attempt to enjoy the games we’ve left, and ignore that it will be 7 months before we can enjoy college football again.

Like many I'm torn on who pull for, or if I even care enough to pick a side.

What the hell, hook'em horns just because Laura is on their side.

OSU has eaten blitzes for breakfast all year. Going to be a long night for Texas if they can’t affect Howard with 4.
