Losing to Oregon early in the season on the road becuase of a rule techicality isn't too surprising.Maybe I’m crazy, but the fact that Day lost two games with this roster is an indictment of his coaching.
I dont think we would have beaten ND but they are about to find out what we ran into early in the bracket. Final is going to be ND 14 or less and OSU 30+
Mind you and we had every possible thing go against us, OSU at home, cold, injuries, etc.
Makes me barf to say it but Ohio State is the real deal and way above everyone this year. Chock full of NFL talent.
I actually think we would’ve matched up well w/ this Notre Dame team. They play ugly, we kind of played ugly. I don’t think it’s a forgone conclusion that we would lose to this Notre Dame team.Of the twelve teams, we could’ve beaten SMU and Boise State and Indiana. We are on the right track, but we still have a ways to go.
Their fans have said for the last few years that Day has a weird mental hangup with Michigan (based not just on how they've played but comments he's made as well), which seems to be the best explanation at this point.Yeah it’s obvious ND has no answers, and we ran into a buzz saw playing this team in their house in the first round.
How in the holy hell did this team lose to Michigan?
And ironically would want Freeman!![]()
I actually think winning a title buys him a few years unless he pulls a Coach O and goes .500 over the next couple years. This win will buy him about a week until the parades and stuff are over, and then we’re talking 2025 roster, future schedule and will Ryan Day ever beat Michigan ?
Ryan Day should win the Natty and take an nfl job w/ a giant middle finger extended towards Columbus. It would be such an improvement for his everyday life.
