Its not that ND is so good (though a little better than we were) its that OSU is so much better.

OSU has been sitting back on their heels and then the pick happened and Irish got some momentum. Once OSU woke the heck up tho that they could actually lose this game, they put it back in overdrive.

I think he was thinking make Howard unload quickly and therefore likely a completion would be less than 11 yards and maybe worse force and a turnover. Unfortunately w all have seen Smith I going to get open in single coverage and Howard saw him and had the time.
