I don’t necessarily disagree, but I expected Clemson to handle ND easily, and that’s not happening.
When Lawrence matures they will really be amazing but they are asking a lot for this kid to throw the team on his back and beat Bama. The fact is Clemson was just massively more talented than most everybody they played outside of A&M and that went to the wire. I'm not surprised this is a game at this point.

Mightily? Nah

Lol. Ok. We see Lawrence playing great on a team thats loaded from top to bottom. So if he were here he would have one of the worst OLs in the country, a WR corps who lead the conference in drops, TEs who cannot block, bad play callng and a mediocre defense. Yeah I am sure he would just come here and play great.

Posts like yours are similar to those making the argument for Hurts. QBs with great talent all around them look great.

it's getting dangerous for ND. clemson about to get the ball back with ~50 seconds left, and they get the ball after half iirc

I actually think OU has a gokd chance to beat Bama. Murray may be the best QB Saban has ever faced.
He will basically need a TD on every possession. I'm not saying he doesn't put some points on the board, but Quentin Williams, Mack Wilson and the boys are going to stop them a fair share also. OU's defense is awful, worse than last year, I don't like their chances of stopping Bama much, whether Bama is running or passing.
