Yeah, Lawrence grew up idolizing Peyton, it means we probably could have gotten him if we weren't such a dumpster fire. Really cheers me up.

Completely agree. But what has traditionally been Sabans kryptonite? An exceptional QB. Who is playing out of his mind. Murray is exactly that. I think he has played better than Newton, Tebow, Manziel or Watson. I could see Murray lighting Bama up. But, the biggest question is is can OU stop Bama. If they can make enough stops, they can win. But thats a big if.

And they have made their nut by saying we are gonna outscore your offense with our high power offense and with our craptastic defense we don't think you can score 50+ points. Looking forward to it but just don't think their offense is as good as Bamas defense. I will Laugh if its a 7-3 game.

So if he were here he would have one of the worst OLs in the country, a WR corps who lead the conference in drops, TEs who cannot block, bad play callng and a mediocre defense. Posts like yours are similar to those making the argument for Hurts. QBs with great talent all around them look great.

Great quarterbacks raise the level of play of their Teammates. Lawrence would have done that here. Do you honestly think that Clemson is going to the National championship game if JG was their starter?

Yes I do. Why? Well for one, they have elite talent everywhere. One of the best defenses in the country and one of the easiest paths to the playoffs. The ACC? Please. JG would have had a stable OC, HC QB. And S&C coach. Not too mention an elite run game. Clemson would look elite with almost any QB. They are almost like Bama now. Clemson could take a RB and put him at QB and make the playoffs (like Bama did).

Look at how great Clemsons OL plays. Look at how their WRs get open so easily. You think TN has anything like that? I mean come on.
