anyone who chants fire dooley is a jackass. lets just show every recruit in the country that as soon as things dont go well we are going to turn on them and hate them. stupid thread is stupid.

Im tired of hearing all this Fire Dooley ****. Seeing that picture on the Rock shows how stupid this fan base can be somtimes. Sad part is, this team can beat Bama. It wont be in a Defensive game, but they could win a shoot out. But instead of everybody getting hyped up and ready to play Bama, whats our fans doing? They're screaming fire the coach. Its really sad. Lets get hype for this game! Lets F'n go! GO VOLS!

If this chant is seriously started during the game we will look like a bunch of idiots and will lose any chance of getting good recruits or a good coach in the future. Who in the world woul wanna come play at a school where the coach gets 3 years and no respect. BUNCH OF DAMN IDIOTS! THAT IS WHAT IS WRONG W TENNESSEE FOOTBALL!!!!

Man I hate to preach and all but that was totally uncalled for. This country has gone down since getting away from Christian values. One day you will stand before god and give an account for the things you have done, and if you have not accepted Jesus into your heart as your savior you won't think those remarks were so cute anymore. I will pray for you that god will open your eyes....GBO

That would be very dumb and disrespectful. Look no matter your opinion or your couch coaching he is still our coach of OUR team if you are a true VFL. I think the folks in Knoxville know a little more than we do sitting at home watching from TV. I will support him until or if he is fired. Then I will support whoever comes in behind him. You cant go from having no talent to having a national title in three years. It takes time to build both sides of the ball. We have an offence that is strong just need to get the other side of the ball up to speed

As far as chanting to Fire Dooley? I hope not, it would be a sad day.

I remember the chants of "Go Johnny go and take Devoe". Didn't like it then and wouldn't like it now.

I hear this from every row I sit in at every game I've been to so far since Dooley has been here. Last year, I remember being at the Montana game and a guy naming every assistant coach and graduate assistant and telling them to go to hell :censored:

GREAT PLAN. UT will have a bunch of top shelf recruits that either Dooley or his replacement will need next year at this game. So what we really need folks like you to do is create as much negative energy at the game as you can... OK?

Let's imagine your a manager at a company that's taking applications for a new expansion. Now let's imagine that the office staff knows you are performing poorly and could well be fired.

Who exactly is served if they start chanting "Fire Sheezy" when around the applicants? Is that the way you'd want to be treated even if you weren't doing well?

Absolutely NOT......The game is not the place to voice our opinion of the coach or the players. This would HURT the program and recruiting...showing no class at all. The media would probably feast on such a classless exhibition. I want to get back to TENNESSEE FOOTBALL as much as anyone but this in not what fans with any class do
