I hope not. It would be embarrassing for our fans to not appreciate the feelings of the players. And yes, booing the Coach in front of Alabama will embarrass our team.

Agree to an extent, but just because you try at something and fail does not mean you deserve to be crucified!! I don't expect him to give up just because Vol 'fans' think he should. He is going to fight until he is not given another chance!

Of course it's in Derek's best interest to try and win out and save his job. I'm of the opinion that it's in the Volunteers best interest to get rid of him as quickly as possible.

There's nothing wrong with chanting your opinion at a football game.

We'll be on national TV and a chant of "fire CDD" would only prove to the entire country and some Tennessee fans are ignorant and totally classless morons and we do NOT want our program to be seen in that manner.

It will also have a negative effect on our recruits and their parents.

It would also prove to any new prospective coach that they never want to coach at Tennessee in front of classless morons like that.

If someone does start crap like that then I hope somebody beats the crap out of them and shuts them up really fast because a good butt kicking is just what that scumbag will deserve.

I also agree that Gruden will never coach at Tennessee but dreamers are allowed to have great fantasy dreams, LOL!

I've been on VN for a little over a year now, and I've never been inclined to put someone on the "ignore" list...until now. You sir/madam are full of garbage. It's ok to be upset with how things are going, but to support a chant such as "fire Dooley" "during that stupid opening prayer garbage" as you put it, is disgusting & tasteless. Yeah everyone has free speech in this country, and that's the way it is, but I sure as heck don't have to listen to this kind of crap. Cya.

you know UT fans are great but if everything dont go perfect they always blame the coach and yes we have had a rough patch and trust ive been angry and pissed but dooley has done a good job of trying to rebuild a ruined program and yes some could have done it faster but he is almost there and if we fire him then it just starts all over again and we lose the big name recruits we are big on right now i mean look at saban he had a 6-6 year one of his first years at bama..... just chill and definently a chant of fire dooley is gonna tear this program apart
