Not all KU fans are excited about this hire. They remember how he screwed over the chiefs by taking the Florida job the week before the playoffs and his offensive game plan for the playoff game was awful. KU fans wanted a good coach but don't think Weis has any "character". Heard that a lot from the callers tonight.
He obviously quit. Not telling Muschamp isnt an indication of CW character, its an indication of Muschamps character. If you dont respect your boss, you dont tell him you are looking for another job, you do it quietly and roll out in the middle of the night
he probably told charlie please take it so we dont have fire you lolMuschamp said that they talked about the opening, and Jabba told him that he was interested in it. Muschamp was aware he was interviewing and supportive. He just didnt know that Jabba accepted the job. That was the surprise.

j/k but i bet he did tell em feel free to take it if want it
interesting how history repeats itself:
2005 - Ty Willingham fired after 3 years, replaced by Weis
2011 - Turner Gill fired after 2 years, replaced by Weis
In both cases, neither Willingham nor Gill were determined to be the white man for the job.
oh ok. now you're talentless.
Our offensive line was void of talent, and that's where a solid pro-style offense begins and ends.
It didn't help that Weis insisted on running Demps/Rainey inside the tackles with our excuse for an o-line.
Other than Demps, Rainey or possibly Debose, I can't think of any of our skill players who could start at Bama, Arkansas or LSU. He'll, our starting receivers would be backups at UT.
Brantley and Thompson were 5* busts.
