Chase Burns Appreciation Thread

Burns is too talented to keep in the pen. It's one thing to move him to a relief role when he's struggling as a starter--but when
he's back on track you move him back into a starting role. Why? Because he was our most talented pitcher. The guy should have been
our No. 1 starter in the second half of the season--a no brainer. There are a lot of guys that can give you a few good innings out of the pen.
Vitello didn't get it right.

Lol! Didn't perform as a starter and Lindsey did. Follow that by Burns killing it out of the pen and there was no way he was getting that role back this year. Am certain he would have had a chance to EARN it back next year but he's made his choice.

I'll trust CTV and CFAs opinions on that one.

A bit of a Wally Pipp vibe, but at least CB got to play.

Not sure if you are calling me a doofus for asking or referring to those who believe everything that RGW says. I had not heard of him so therefore I asked.
I personally don’t think @StarRaider is like that. That same tweet (and that twitter account) had been discussed earlier this week on this forum.

Appreciate him playing for Tennessee 2 years but wonder why he is so fragile that he didn't like doing what was best for the team. I would think that would hurt him with MLB teams.
