Depends on Tennessee’s ranking and the other games that day.
Selection order generally goes as follows:
Version A:
CBS 3:30PM - 1st choice
ESPN 7PM - 2nd choice
ESPN2 7PM - 3rd choice
ESPN 12PM - 4th choice
SEC Network 7:30 PM - 5th choice
SEC Network 12 PM - 6th choice
SEC Network 4PM - 7th choice
Version B:
CBS 3:30PM - 1st choice
ESPN 7PM - 2nd choice
ESPN 12PM - 3rd choice
ESPN2 12PM - 4th choice
SEC Network 7:30 PM - 5th choice
SEC Network 12 PM - 6th choice
SEC Network 4PM - 7th choice
There are only 6 SEC games on that Saturday (Ole Miss-Miss St is on that Thursday; Missouri-Arkansas and Florida-Florida State are on Friday). South Carolina also plays
at Clemson, meaning that game gets broadcast by the ACC’s television deal setup.
This all means that the SEC Network 4PM and 12PM timeslots probably end up not getting games that weekend.
The other SEC games that weekend are:
- Georgia Tech-Georgia
- Auburn-Alabama (this one usually doesn’t fall past ESPN at the 2nd choice if CBS doesn’t choose to pick it with the 1st choice)
- Louisville-Kentucky
- Tennessee-Vanderbilt
- LSU-Texas A&M
