IMO the best fast food place. Food is always fresh, they always get my order right, they're always friendly (dunno how they do this; are they brainwashing people?), and - unlike most other "fast" food places - they never ask me to pull forward and wait for my order.

Agree on all points.

As to the bold, I don't understand it either but it's impressive.

My niece works there and says it happens a lot. Definitely daily thing. Sometimes they go on for a hour, sometimes just once. Most often during breakfast as it's cheaper and usually an older crowd. Sometimes they have them relay a message like "Merry Christmas". I've never had it happen to me before.

We had this happen to us at McDonald's drive thru last week. Pulled up to the window and the girl said 2 cars in front of us paid for our meal. We them paid for 2 cars behind us.

The CFA near my restaurant has a party in our private rooms every year near graduation. The CFA's GM invites all graduating seniors to the party and they can order anything they want. Based on my yearly waiting on him (3 years running), I'm inclined to believe that the employees are so nice because the entire environment is nice. The management probably emphasizes pleasant attitudes and doesn't tolerate any less.

My paycheck didn't get deposited on time and my card declined, I said just give me my card and I'll be on my way, the manager of chick Fil a bartlett said its on the house! They are quite kind.

On a side note my friends and I used to tell the cashier at drive thrus that the car behind us was paying for our meal and I'd wave and they waved back so we got our food and drove off the car behinds was probably really pissed off, we were a bunch of young a-holes back then, I'd like to pay for someone's meal one day, but hardly ever eat fast food.

Well a study was just released if you buy into any of those things. Chic fil a was ranked the third healthiest chain restaurant behind Panera Bread and Chipotle.

Also, they really are nice. I don't know how they do it either. They support first responders of all types too. I'm a firefighter and if there is a prolonged scene that has our guys completely exhausted the local chic fil a will cater us food to our location.

When I was a reserve firefighter Starbucks would always cater coffee and donuts to a prolonged scene, chick fil a supplied our highschool with sausage and chicken biscuits to sell for fund raisers for sports teams and such.

I'm a believer that these small acts of kindness are contagious. People caring for each other more could be the start of a much-needed change in our society.

The founder of that chain is responsible for the customer service, I believe.

Sorry but this chic fil a stuff is safe, selfish kindness. Real kindness would be buying a meal for someone who can't afford it rather than the soccer mom who already ordered. You know that guy holding a sign at the intersection? Go grab 2 chicken sandwiches and give them to him. Pick up an extra $10 worth of groceries next shopping trip and drop them off at the food bank. Order a box of diapers or formula from Amazon and have them delivered to a local woman's shelter. For every toy you buy your kids this Christmas make sure to drop one in the toys for tots box. Just a few ideas we use and hope to pass on to our kids

I completely understand what you're getting at and don't disagree with the sentiment but we should give help where is most truly needed. Don't waste the effort

My wife and I still receive formula samples in the mail (not small punches but full containers) and donate them to my sons pre school which in return donates them to shelters and food banks. Leave diaper coupons on self checkouts at grocery stores as well as vouchers for baby products, the parents that need them most use them.

During the "Snowpocaylpse" down here in Atlanta there were a ton of stories of Chic-Fil-As giving out food to people trapped in the storm. And just so PJ doesn't jump on it as fake kindness, they were doing it for the homeless too. A couple stores even stayed open and on for anyone to stay warm out of the storm.

You do realize what you just described in no way relates to the OP or what I was discussing right? The only similarity is the same restaurant chain was sort of involved

I saw all that on the news. There were some good hearted folks who stepped up during that down here.

The YouTube vids of the guy picking up homeless veterans and buying them lunch every day is awesome, great to see there's hope out there.

I think I, like at least some people, decide against helping the homeless based on one experience. It sucks, and I'm not proud of it, but I'm honest.

I was out with a friend of mine on the Strip a couple years ago. We decided we wanted to go to grab some crappy food at Cook-Out after the bar, so we walked over there. On the way, a guy stopped to ask for money. We brushed it off as we didn't have cash. I don't remember what his story was or how we responded. Probably just said we didn't have cash and that we were sorry we couldn't help.
We got to Cook-Out and ordered. We finally got our food and started eating. I tend to save my chicken quesadilla til last. The same homeless dude walked into Cook-Out and started asking for money for food because of low blood sugar. I vividly remember this, as it was a completely different story than the one he first told us on the street.
Anyway, I still had no cash, but I gave him my untouched chicken quesadilla. Dude snatches it out of my hand and walks out of the restaurant. No thanks, no 'preciate it. Just gone.
