The fact Mattis himself said it's untrue makes me think yes, this is fake news.

The implications of a cabinet member deliberately hiding information pertaining to national security from the POTUS is laughable.

I wonder if you realize how ridiculous this makes you look? I mean, I think Biden is suffering from dementia, but I still think they tell him things.

So, I had actually never read that. Now I've gone down the rabbit hole this evening and learned about the subs, the pilot, his samurai sword, the balloons, and the only people killed in the continental U.S. during WW2.
