The documentary UNACKNOWLEDGED predicted that eventually a presidential administration would admit to our contact with ETs, and there’s a good chance it would be used to unite us in a war against them. The doc also suggested the aliens are peaceful and this would just be a play for blood and treasure. It’s fascinating and worth a watch.

Seems like we need to quit trying to build overly complex Swiss Army knife airplanes and get back to the basics. A good air superiority fighter, maybe an attack plane along the lines of the F-18, and keep the A-10. Build a good workable airframe for each and then modular electronics that can be upgraded, but above everything else keep it simple so the damn things can spend more time in the air than on the ground being fixed. Recognize that the A-10 does good work and provide air cover so it can do the job, and quit the Mickey Mouse horse crap of building a plan that can supposedly protect itself but can't work low and slow enough to do the ground work.

Fly the balloons over forests, drop incendiary devices to start massive forest fires. Force the country to repeatedly spend huge sums to battle these fires.
