Chism, the biggest baby on the planet?

Chism ain't no baby. He's hurt. He should have never gone back in. Bad call on Pearl for letting him back in. It only made it worse, for his injury and the team. This team needs to learn how to play without a quality big man. Time to practice our 3's boys.

Love me some Chism - dude rocks the headband. But no one milks an injury like big Wayne. He must have used that on his momma when he was little. Short of a wrestling injury I have not seen some one drag themselves off so pathetically. I might also point out that he wasn't injured at all on this play-- just picked up his fifth foul.

He also managed to give an update to the chick on the sidelines throughout the game. Dogged determination.

Wayne Chism - one rebound???? Where's my double- double Wayne?

Hodge - podge lineup and substitution in the second half confused me and apparently the team as well.

Exactly, Chism plays like a man child sometimes but when he's not playing well he's the biggest baby. Like suck it up man. It's just pathetic how he moped around like he was a hang nail away from being a quadriplegic. It was embarrassing for the university. Either play, or sit out if your THAT injured. If some of you would take your orange goggles off for a second you'd see how over dramatic he was being and immature it appeared.

There's being critical of a player, and then there's just acting like a belligerent dumbass.

Unless this is all one big sarcastic joke that I'm not in on.

Yes, we're setting up an economic and political system in which we will own and control all land and means of production.

The jig is up, guys. He caught us.

I agree 100%. Chism is a drama queen. He wants everyone to think he is really hurting, so when he comes back in the game everyone will say he plays with "heart." I was ashamed to say Wayne Chism was a part of our team last night. It made me sick.

C'mon, I'm sure he's hurt, but suck it up and sit on the bench or go to the locker room. Give me a break.

Other notes on the game....

Does Prince purposely take the worst shots in UT history at the worst time? That quick 3 after one of Walkers made 3's might have been the worst shot decision in the history of sports.

Pearl played well for most of the game but he is responsible for the straw that broke the camels back.... A 3 on 1 when UT needed a bucket and pearl takes it coast to coast for a brick layup which FLA converts to a back breaking 3?

Why because I make a couple valid observations? Basketball is a physical sport, how many other players across the country act like Chism when things aren't going their way and they're "hurt"? I'm sure he was hurt and in pain but seriously, he's acting like he's playing for manchester united. How many other players do you see receive some apparent devastating injury and after rolling on the floor grimacing for a few minutes then get up and everythings fine, except for when he picks up a 3rd or 4th foul, it all of a sudden hurts again. I'm not buying it... He's a drama queen plain and simple. He's now the leader of this team and he needs to start acting like it and start setting an example for these other guys when he's having a good night or bad night.

As the years go by, the more I realize that Chris Fowler was right about Tennessee's fanbase, at least for the most part.

Let's see you with the same injury, and see how well you do, eh?

You made no valid observations. All you did was attact a tenn. player.

It was amazing to me how he wasn't limping much at all until he was walking off the floor. Man he couldn't taken one more step. BS, That guy that u see as my pic, he had heart. Every time he came out he gave it everything he had. We need someone like him. I love my Vols, but Chism didn't give his all for Tennessee last night.

how many other players across the nation would have sucked it up and tried to play through as many injuries as he has? Who are you to judge how much he is hurting? Some people amaze me with their idiocy.

The forum is intense today...I will agree that sometime Chism likes to exaggerate his injuries, but I truely do think he is really banged up and there are plenty of other things to harp on that this team does bad instead of getting onto a player for playing through pain.

I do think a little bit of that pain he went through after that fourth foul was frustration and that he wanted to take away from the fact that he just got a bonehead 4th foul, but on the same hand I really do think he is hurt so it isn't fair to nitpick.
