Chism, the biggest baby on the planet?

Is it just just me, or there a bunch of posters who only sign on after a loss?

C'mon, I'm sure he's hurt, but suck it up and sit on the bench or go to the locker room. Give me a break.

Other notes on the game....

Does Prince purposely take the worst shots in UT history at the worst time? That quick 3 after one of Walkers made 3's might have been the worst shot decision in the history of sports.

Pearl played well for most of the game but he is responsible for the straw that broke the camels back.... A 3 on 1 when UT needed a bucket and pearl takes it coast to coast for a brick layup which FLA converts to a back breaking 3?

I agree with you on Prince, but Chism come on man

Our guys played hard. They just didn't have anyone who could put the ball in the basket like they did in the first half. Chism has been playing hurt most of the season. Prince makes some spectacular plays and then some very dumb ones. I believe he stepped on the out of bounds line at least twice last night. Pearl is not talented, but he plays his heart out. We won't win every game but should win enough to get a mid range seeding in the NCAA. I dread Saturday's game against KY. It could get ugly especially if Chism can't go.

I love how someone can't make an observation about a player without being called a bad fan. We all love Wayne as a player, but you're seriously delusional if you don't think this dude gets hurt way too often and doesn't milk the injury.

Even the team and coaching staff knows it, just watch when he fouls out of the game, he goes and lays down in front of the bench and not one player or coach seems concerned about him. Everyone knows he either cannot handle the pain or he just plays it up.

I'm sure he was hurt and in pain but seriously, he's acting like he's playing for manchester united. How many other players do you see receive some apparent devastating injury and after rolling on the floor grimacing for a few minutes then get up and everythings fine

I largely agree with this (but am withholding judgment about the hip injury last night). It's bizarre seeing Chism rolling around on the court like he just tore his ACL, only to be back in the game five minutes later.

And that's not just happened once--it's happened several times. He could make a good soccer player.

Face it, if Cousins pulled that kind of stunt posters here would be all over him.

But it's fine if he's wearing orange . . . .

Today's players like to put a lot more acting into their injuries than past years. Watch NBA games--the players roll around on the floor to get attention, then get right up.

Chism needs to come out with a little more authority, drop the dumb fouls and the "I'm hurt" attitude after a few bumps, or UT will not last long in the NcAAs.

So is Chism out for Saturday's game?

The way he was crawling around by the bench I was concerned he may have broken his hip.

You, Volsrule and McDman get it. Thanks for understanding where I'm coming from and not just dropping the ole... "You're a bad fan..." Title.

No, he's not a baby. But, for a Sr, he sure is the most undisciplined player I've seen. Just ridiculous fouls. Frosh-like willy nilly play on D. Sometimes, it's like he's trying to dig himself a hole.

I don't see that in his play consistently. I think he was in the mindset that he had to carry the team and tried to do too much (circa Erik Ainge in the 07 SECCG)

When I see these kind of comments coming from a supposed UT fan, I sometimes wonder if it is really worth coming to this forum to see such garbage.
If we did not have Wayne Chism, this team would not be anywhere close to what they are. He has been shafted by officials all year, but he keeps giving us everything he has.
I would not trade Wayne Chism for anyone. Glad he is a Vol. Wish some of our "so-called fans" would find another team they could gripe about.
