Damn, Gillian Anderson has confirmed that she’s planning on this being her last season of playing Scully.

Yeah, it seems to me she has become so uber liberal that she can't just do her job without worrying on what's going on behind the scenes.

A couple of months ago she came out blasting the show and studio for having an all male writing team.

She has only been in a handful of shows & films the last 4 to 5 years. Three of those as a Narrator and several theater productions in New York & London.

The last TV show where she was a main cast member was the 2015 NBC Summer series Crisis that only lasted 13 episodes.

Now I really liked the show had a great cast with Anderson also starred Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor (Jessica Jones, Luke Cage & The Defenders), Micheal Beach, Max Martini among others.

While it wouldn't be ideal, it would be interesting to see an X-Files season with Mulder and no Scully; since we already had a half season with no Mulder (Season 8) and he wasn't in Season 9 at all until the finale. DD has given no indication he's ready to retire as Mulder.

I recorded it and since the season is only 10 episodes I may just DVR the entire season and just marathon it later this spring or summer when I get more time.

I mean it wasn't bad but it just was kinda...meh. For, bad X-Files is like bad Star Wars, I'll still take it.

Episode 1 sucked..hopefully they toss in a few legit good episodes that deviate from their silly main plot line.

The stand alone episodes where they’re chasing after whatever mythical thing are always great and entertaining. When they go with the storyline with government coverups, the smoking man, alien DNA, Scully abduct...ed...are.. so........ just.........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Episode 2 was much better IMO. It didn't make that much sense but that never meant a whole lot for this show. Plus loved seeing them reference The Lone Gunman again.

2nd episode was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the first...and it wasn't even that good.

I really liked the latest episode. That was classic X-Files. The monster of the week episodes are usually gold.

Good! Don't care for the elongated facial change she's gone through as she's gotten older. I'm not sure how someone's face can elongate as much as her has over the years

I honestly wouldn't mind if they continued with just Fox because DD has still got it as Mulder. His timing, comebacks and facial expressions are just gold.

I just started watching season 11 and I'm about to move on to episode 3. What was that complete disconnect between episode 1 and 2 of this season?

Its just how X-files does episodes. They have the dumb government conspiracy line then the almost always better Xfiles case type episodes.

I was laughing so hard at the old clips where they put in the new guy. And the end where he was telling Mulder and Scully about the "last case" and Mulder started pouting about Bigfoot. And the cherry on top was when they were driving him away, Skinner walked out and said "Hey where are they taking Reggie?"
