You guys must be talking about Hicks a DE Juco from out west... LSU was the first big school to come calling.. I don't seem changing his committment, seemed pretty excited about being a Tiger.

Davenport grew up an LSU fan...I don't see him being the guy your heard a tidbit rumor about?

Anything is possible I suppose

Hicks actually was down to UT and Oregon before LSU came in the picture

I think some people on this board are getting carried away with the recruiting thing. He's signing with LSU. We may have the best recruiting staff in the country, but that doesn't mean we can sway anyone we want.

Ok, I could be wrong about Hicks schools of interest..

I think Arizona, or Arizona State was one of his choices as well..

I just remember him saying that when LSU called and offered, he jumped on it right away..

LSU losing RJF to the draft early, gives us a need.

In fact LSU lost 3 big men on the starting DL

RJF, Jackson, Pittman, and maybe Alexander as well.. All 4 starters could be gone.. Alexander is trying to get a medical redshirt.

So the need to reload asap is there.. I think Hicks keeps his committment

I have been wanting to say that for a long time and that is no shot at our coaches at all.
