Chris Doering infuriated by Peter Burns

Maybe he had a copy of Butch's chart?
LOL. No doubt. And to be honest, it was THAT day - when Butch could have simply said that the plan was miscommunicated or the like, but he lied and then stubbornly stood by the lie......that is when my heart sank. I knew we had a snake oil salesman on our hands.

I hope we do just for Doering! It will sit with him until that time next year. Biggest homer and hater out there!
He was really complimentary of the vols last year. Just cause he’s a Spurrier guy doesn’t mean he’s all bad. Just sticking up for his alma mater

Finebaum was dissecting UFs game with some criticism. Whoever he was interviewing said, they wallop Mcneese and get by UT somehow at the Swamp and it will quieten down the natives. It’s as simple as that.
That’s been the history in a nutshell…

Christ Doering was infuriated by a conversation he was having with Peter Burns this morning on the SEC Network. Burns told Doering that he should hope that the Gators will not be embarrassed in a couple of weeks when the Vols play in Gainesville . Doering screamed "embarrassed"?........Why do you think the Gators will be embarrassed? "The Vols haven't even played a game yet?" Burns said "Yeah, but the Gators have" BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!
Haha that’s great!

That poorly coached, less than 5 star team almost beat us last year and we were playing at home. Are we that much better this year than last year? In some areas perhaps, but this " we can't lose to them this year" ---better keep things in check. Florida always plays us tough even in down years

They are going through what we did. We were a beast in the east along with UF for years before UGA finally awoke. With their recruiting base, they won't be down forever and as they climb back up, they'll be focusing on us.

Nah, they are way down right now but nowhere near as bad off as we were for a long time.

Florida is maybe entering their own "Botch" era-bringing in a mid major coach who looks lost half the time.

To get down to the level we did, our AD almost had to try to torpedo the program.

Simple reality is that in order for Florida to bounce back, UGA is gonna have to come back to earth. Almost impossible for any one division to have three powerhouses all pointing "up" at the same time. (Yeah, yeah divisions are going away but here we are lol).

I certainly don't want the Gators rising back up and knocking the good guys in orange back a rung.

Honestly, FSU being at least respectable again is a good thing for us. They compete heavily with UGA for the South Georgia kids and UF for the North Florida ones. FSU being good is not a direct threat to UT-at this point anyway.

Our thoughts on this game has zero impact on the end result

Most common sense thing I've heard all day....we better be ready...or same old song once again.
