Actually, you can use @utk.edu or @tennessee.edu. I prefer to use the @tennessee.edu address. It all goes to the same account.

Yeah they mentioned that in the letter from my notification of having a UT email address. Using utk has just been a lot faster and easier to type and write.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't, The University of Tennessee around before the University of Texas...therefore, Tennessee gets the nod.

IIRC Memphis is part of the Tennessee Board of Regents system along with ETSU, MTSU, Cleveland State, Chatt State etc. The UTs, KCM are part of a different governed system.

And while we are on a Tennessee Vols board, it is still ok to refer to Tenn as UTK, like it was posted above, that is how they refer to themselves....

Ex. UTK.edu

You get kind of used to it if you are or have been a student there.

Yeah, everyone on UT's campus including faculty and students call it UTK. It's annoying but thats what its name is.
