How so? He's already committed. This isn't football.

The poster meant like him enrolling this August and playing in November. He is originally a 2011 recruit, but trying to bump up to a 2010 recruit. I think he falls short though. Although it would be great if he made it here.

Because he is a junior in High School and it looks like he needs another year to be academically eligible. Therefore, it is less than likely he is playing this fall.

Just got this off Volquest. He's going to Hargrave Military Academy next season. From a quote directly from Chris.

Lewis says he is going to Hargrave if he cannot get into UT next year. He is still trying to enroll at UT for next year.

Will likely end up at Hargrave, but if he somehow makes it in I will be ridiculously happy. Best prospect out of Memphis this year.

Still laughing at Dan Wolken saying that Jones was not even in Jackson's league.

Still hearing from some of those close to him that is almost assured that he will be in prep school next year. Too much ground to make up academically. Outside of being eligible this upcoming season, Hargrave is the best scenario for Tennessee and Jones as he will be much more likely to get qualified and stay out of trouble.

Only problem is he won't be in Adonis Thomas's ear as much as we'd like. Or McCaffee's(sp?) for that matter.

We are quickly running into scholarship problems. Should he become eligible this year and we should get Selby, there is no room for E-Man if he actually plays. It appears Pearl may have to pull back scholarship offers to McBee and Bone if every thing fell into place.

McBee doesn't deserve a scholly anyway. I understand if Bone got one, but McBee did absolutely nothing except one big shot against Kansas.

You have no argument from me; fact is, we are still reaching a scholarship problem. If we can get quality, better players, I say don't give a scholarship to McBee or Bone.

Well, he stated in a post game interview that McBee had earned a scholarship---sounds very much like an offer to me.

Before he quit playing McBee, but the issue is--an offer was made with a public statement. Can he change his mind, of course; but an offer was made and I have no doubt McBee accepted and is expecting a scholarship. I have no argument that he may not be a D1 player and we should not extend a scholarship to him if we are able to get a better player. The program is more important that a player who is questionable if he can play at this level.

I have no way to provide you a link of the post game interview. I attended the Bruce Pearl post game show and heard him make the statement and even ask the crowd if they didn't agree that he had earned a scholarship. If you don't want to accept that, that's fine and you can say no offer was extended. Perhaps he was just joking.
