Chris Lofton in the NBA

You know Tubby Smith didn't think Lofton was good enough to play in the SEC either. He lived to regret that decision.
Ask Scotty Thurman how much being a good SEC shooter meant when he tried to get a job in the League.

With Allan Houston retiring I don't think we have a single Player in the NBA. The should be required to put CL on a team as a token Vol until our new recruits advance to the next level.

It shows how tough it is to make an NBA roster that neither Ron Slay nor Isiah Victor, who tore up the D League last year, can be some team's 12th man.

Hopefully we dont have to worry about this for a long time but when he does or if he does...do you think Chris Lofton will be a success in the NBA or will he get drafted? Your Thoughts??

I too don't see Lofton in the nba. He doesn't seem to have the quickness or skills to play PG--and he's not big enough to play the 2 spot. Right now he's one dimensional--a 3-point shooter. As others have mentioned, he needs to keep working on his ball-handling, defense, develop a mid-range offensive game, etc. He's got moxie, though, and he's certainly been a big player for this team.
