Hooker and Young are pretty evenly matched quarterbacks, but at the end of the day I don’t see us beating Bama in a scoring contest. That’s not because our offense isn’t better than ours. It’s just because our secondary can’t stop a nosebleed. We’re going to have to force a few fumbles to steal some possessions. He almost went in against Texas AM, he was warming up, per their boards.
The good news is, we have a Hendo Cinco to match their Bryce Young. And if you gave me the choice between him or Young, I’d take Hendo on my team all day long.
What big players? Tillman practiced last week and should play this week, the reason he went ahead with the surgery was to be ready for this game. Every team is banged up at this point but we are healthy for the most part. What other big players are we missing? So you're fine with them being 100% so that they have no excuses, but also fine with us having big players like Tillman possibly out against them?
Youngs scrambles are sneaky. Looks like a trot not a gallop and before you know it he is 10 yards down field.I don’t wish the kid any injury or ill will but….
He’s going to get hit. May play the game of his life but Banks will send pressure from multiple angles and hit the qb. We’re not going to sit back as much this game imo. Young isn’t as dangerous with his legs as some others so they will blitz and hit him.
Our kryptonite is pass defense.
Young's throwing shoulder is injured.
If he plays, he's going to be playing with an injured throwing shoulder.
If he doesn't play, a much less capable thrower will take the field.
It is all fitting together like jigsaw pieces made for each other.
