Have you seen CJ Strouds numbers?? Hooker has a long way to go. Stroud is the Heisman front runner and it’s not close unfortunately.

Chris Low is sending the message Saban wants him to.

If Young gets hit (and he better) and hurts that shoulder again, he'll most likely be finished for the season. It takes alot longer, or possibilly surgery, to recover if its reinjured.

Yeah I wasn't saying that. But when the receivers are going vertically downfield he 3 to 4 times a game will delay and if something isn't safe to throw he scampers toward sideline or end zone if inside 15 or so. He is efficient at keeping drives alive. Most of his scrambling is behind los trying to extend time so he can allow receiver to break free.

The secondary did much better Saturday and 13 points given up is winning football in any league, anywhere. We just have to play our game. We don't need any miracles. Good football will win again like it did in Baton Rouge.

Bro any response like this I just ask that we replace said opponents name with our own players name or kid. Then after doing that would we say the same thing? Not likely. Young is a rival but seems to be a pretty good person.

If there’s ever a time for zero coverage and bringing at least 5 every down it’s this week. Make him prove he can throw it over the top and take a beating . We’ll get home some, they’ll make plays some, but make him pay for standing in the pocket or trying to get out of trouble. Nothing late, nothing that draws a flag or hurts our team, but pound him all day long.

We sacked him a few times last year and our Dline is better this year we can get to him Saturday.

I guess you didn't see what bummer did to hooker last year and no flag thrown. I think Hendon lost four teeth. Geez not going to play nice here bud. Bummer will try to take our dude out too. Remember Tony Robinson in 1985? Those goobs hurt him intentionally.

. Hell yea they will they have taken out two Texas QB’s in games they would’ve lost with those QBs playing. Kurt Jarvis took out Tony Robinson’s knee in 85. Alabama is and has always been the dirtiest team on and off the field.

In addition, if Bryce plays then Alabama won't be as dangerous in QB scrambles as with Milroe. Now Bryce hurt us last year with his scrambling but we will not allow him to be as effective doing that this year plus every time he risks taking a big hit on that shoulder. Alabama's best chance in the run game will be wide. They are not running it consistently against us between the tackles. They haven't shown they consistently have the ability to do it and we haven't shown we will consistently allow it.

If he's not 100%, it's silly. Neither team needs this win to accomplish a championship. Both can get to Atlanta, regardless of the outcome. With that said, I'm greedy as a fan and want em all, especially Bama.

Gibbs doesn't need a big hole just some daylight and then our second level better come and wrap or he is gone gone.

Yeah, maybe so. On the other hand, Low sounds a lot more positive about Young's chances of playing than Saban himself.

I mean, we all know Saban is usually a bit of a sourpuss, but his body language and tone here are entirely negative about the young man's chances of getting well in time:
