Chris Low reports Orgeron to UT

Your serious? You really think he is coaching up NFLers?
What are you talking about? Check out the list of defensive linemen that Orgeron has coached at Miami and USC. Then check out their tax brackets. Not to hard to sell recruits when you have those facts in your back pocket.

He was on a short leash in SoCal, went to Ol' Miss and wet himself. Only reason he got a job in NOLA is because its down stream from Oxford. He is lucky to be working, has proven he is useless for the Saints, because he isn't teaching anything those NFLers hadn't heard before. And he decided he'd call his ol' buddy Lane up and get a 2nd chance in the SEC. Just living off his rep. he leached off Pete @ SoCal.

Are you really under the impression that players coached by O knew everything they took to the NFL by their senior year in high school?

Completely incorrect. He is one of the few staffers at USC that Pete kept when he took over the HC job. Of course we all know that he isn't a good judge of assistants, right?

He is still a dork and a goof,.....not a classy guy I want associated w/UT,...but what do I know?...I think Chuck Oliver is cool.

Because he is in the NFL @ New Orleans isn't a resume enhancer,.....that is what I'm typing about. He isn't coaching there, and got the job as a coaching fraternal favor. And I WASN'T aware he coached at Miami, since that is a fact,...then that seals it. He most definatley is a dirtbag. Nothing good ever comes out of Miami. Nothing outta Miami (the U) should ever be part of the UT program.

Honk Honk (clown horn)

Yeah, the fact that he was National Recruiter of the Year in 2004 means nothing. Why on earth would we want another great recruiter on board? Why would we want a guy who's won multiple championships with Miami and USC on board? You might be right that he's not a good HC, but that's not what he'll be doing here Sherlock.

Dork?
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson admitted that his wrestling persona, down to his tag line "Shut your mouth and know your role", is based wholly on his experience at Miami with Ed.
I am no wrestling fan, but that is not exactly dorky.

All of the folks on this board that wanted Butch Davis disagree with you.

The amount of highly successful coaches and assistants that have come out of Miami is scary.

So you do not like Kiffin or Davis. Who was your choice?

On another thread I came to terms w/Lane. He will make a very good staff (except for the O, but Monte will keep him in line) and learn on the job until his Dad retires. At that point the real test for him will start. We will be .500 plus a bowl in 2009 and maybe get a 2-3 game improvement in 2010, plus another bowl. Then Monte will retire. We'll have to see then, but thats my feelings.

1. SoCal experience wasn't as awesome as everyone says, he wasn't the sole coach, it was by a larger than avg. committee.
2. He was overwhelmed in Oakland, but Davis is still nuts.

I bounce back and forth, 680s Kincaid sux, and so does the guy in the morning w/Rude. 790 has lost alot of talent, but the morning show is good w/Domino, but Brandon and Wolve are pretty good too.
