Chris Low reports Orgeron to UT

I think he's a dork and a goof also... and I 100% hope he comes to UT. You need a mix of personalities to be successful, and O is just the guy to stir the pot. You need your straight-laced button down guys, and you need your crazy-nutso guys too. Just like baking a cake - you need sugar and salt to make it good. I can't explain exactly why, but I think he will be great for our staff.

...may have something there,...on my h.s. team we had two coaches that were INSANE,...but nobody took them seriously (until they made you run laps),...I'm just wondering how a dork like O can stand in a living room and make the sell,...he isn't a winner, he IS a drunken bull in a china shoppe....its just a fact

your definition of 'fact' is different than anyone else who speaks the English language. Not surprised, just saying...

Bold faced lies.

Bold faced lies.

You know you might be right, I saw him down at the Kroger the other night and he was really nice and told me about the all the widows and blind children he helped last week,.....wha? And how do you know he isn't a dork? Have seen this dude operate?

I find it funny you give the definition of opinion, yet tried to claim it factual that he was a drunk.

Nice, you can cut and paste.

That doesn't change the FACT that your post was a bold faced lie.

You don't know what you are talking about.

Lets run off some names of D-lineman coach O has helped put in the NFL shall we? I am going to look it up and be back with the findings later

...your limit of literary description is what is staggering, not the amount of alcohol anyone person can drink (Lord knows we all have our demons)...try and not read TO literally into what anybody writes and you might be able to keep up.....have a nice day & GO VOLS....:good!:

Cortez Kennedy, Russell Maryland and Warren Sapp. Miami

Helped recruit Dwight Freeney & did recruit Keith Bullock of Tennessee Titan fame.

But what have you done for me lately, he recruited & coached the only defensive line that has beat florida this year. Thats all I want to see

I have a hard enough time deciphering the words you type and now I have to try and decipher a meaning too? I-lister

"...Eric Berry was in there like a bullet in that last game vs. UK..."

...."did that guy just call Berry a bullet,...man what a jerk!...Eric isn't a .45 round he is person"...

see kind of like that....its a description.......

Can't really help ya w/I-lister, sorry.

I wonder that as well. Yet, by all accounts, he does make the sell, and he does it better than almost anyone else. He reminds me of of my drill instructor, who I fondly remember as a total clown, but when I was 18 he inspired me to believe I could run through a brick wall if I really wanted to.

I'm giving you Drill Instructor the edge on that one,...don't listen to him your dead.

But signing w/The O your (new UT freshman) future will depend on Lane & your position coach. Coach O will be out of the equation. My problem w/Coach O is I feel he might be as repulsive as a recruiter and some of you want to believe he is successful.
And seriously, how hard can it be to compete against the lame-ass skools of the Pac-10 when it comes to recruiting? A better indicator of his abilities would be his kids getting coached up by Nutt over @ Ol' Miss. That is a solid FACT.

everybody on VN thinks he'll be in Knoxville next season. Chris Low of ESPN has stated yesterday that he thinks O is here next year. If it's UT football news, I'm going with C.Low all the way. He scooped everybody on Kiffin.

To their credit, a couple of folks here scooped Low (Justin and SpringBokVol).

and they will pay for it w/that STELLAR new coach they got,....bet Troy beats em'.....HA!

Been fun, gotta go finish my Christmas cards to the last TN. Coaching Staff & the judges letting murders out of Gitmo, Merry Orange Christmas.

Wow, it scares me that people like you have an opinion.

Dork?? Seriously, are you still in middle school? Why should you or anybody else care if he's a dork. As long as he can recruit and coach a defense without cheating then that's all I care about.

Can you really make that last statment and not think he was a good recruiter at Ole Miss? Apparently the talent he brought in there wasn't the problem it was the coaching. I am pretty excited that we are getting a good recruiter if we do hire him.

...trying to keep it clean....but yes, as a matter of fact I'm in 7th grade I'm 13 and half years old, I hope to get a puppy for Christmas, I'm really looking forward to getting back to skool in Jan. and my little brother is this kid....

sucks that he is famous and I'm not...

thats what I said,....but I can't buy into it off one job,...his SoCal success?...really all him?...bad Pac-10? uber coach w/Carroll,....program rolling along,...so how much of that was him or the circumstances,....& Miami, same thing - plus was the lead recruiter or did he get alot of credit for being on a good staff that recruited well,....I'm just saying, cuz the kool-aid is deep in here and nobody questions anything.......if its on WMNL or WBIR, its the gospel,....little thought goes along way....

You're idea of a fact is your opinion that you think is logical. You wouldn't know a fact if Orgeron smacked you with it. You continue to try to deny reality. Ever heard of the book Meat Market? Also, Coach O will be a positional coach so he won't be out of the equation. It must be fun to invent how you think things work and pass it off as truth.
