Jay Bay, the station owner, needs to get off the air with Ainge and run the station behind the scenes. He's even more immature than Ainge and their middle school banter really gets. I quit listening to Ainge during my commute to work.

I listen to Hooker's show while at lunch at it's okay. He tries to keep it interesting for the most part. Still, way too many commercial breaks to keep the topic flow going. Hooker suffers from lack of recall when it comes to Vol related facts, figures & info which is surprising for someone who has covered the Vols for most of his career. His sidekick Durago is young and acts like it with his opinionated comments and bravado.

IMO Swain does the best job at TSR. I enjoy listening to his show driving home from work and on podcasts. Stokes needs to get better and quit growling words to make a point. I think he tries hard, maybe too hard. Perhaps now that he has his own show, he'll improve.

If you know Hooker personally you will understand why he has trouble recalling facts. He ain't as good as he once was!

Agree and Ainge just needs to grow up.

Hooker is horrible. Rather listen to Tony B.

May be right. I guess we will never know. Considering his past and the fact that he said he would explain all after it's over, makes me believe it may not be over or he had it fixed and will not discuss it further.

Ainge can still shine at times but he really needs to grow up and do more research for his show. He needs to talk more about recruiting and how to play the game and stay away from all the Junior High story telling and behavior. Be more Doug Matthews like without being Doug Matthews.

Completely agree with this... problem is that Ainge can't help himself and Jay Bay contributes to the problem.

IMHO his show was the only one in town worse than WNML mornings. His show-open was the only good part of the show.

Treece is/was a eternal Big Orange optimist.....Saw every thing thru orange colored glasses.........Which is why I liked him.

IMO Seth Stokes is the worst on TSR. Which is pretty bad, because aside from Swain their all very amateur. Stokes agrees with everything Swain says and it takes him 2 minutes to spit out 1 sentence because he grunts and growls his speech and thinks while he talks which is annoying. He doesn't seem to have his own opinion. I like Ainge but at times he lives in the glory days too much and his banter with Jay Bay is childish. Jay Bay manages that station really poorly, but it gets ratings because we don't have many alternatives in East TN.

When Ainge is talking X's and O's, and Jay Bay is not talking or absent, EA show is interesting.

We don't know if Ainge has a "legit" DUI. It's only been reported that he was arrested.

I don't agree that Treece should have been fired, but I wouldn't place all the blame on TSR. Their sponsors could have threatened to pull their funding if Treece was still on the air. We are not privy to all the facts.

For all the talk about Treece's charge, I think its important to note that the charge was dropped apparently at the request of his wife. Its not like it was dropped for lack of evidence or anything.

And, I'd add he doesn't seem to harbor any particular ill will toward TSR. It sounds like he's dealing with some long standing issues and privacy would be best for all involved.

As for Stokes...the kid is a producer. Not fair to expect much out of him at this point.

Bailey would be wise to try to use it as a chance to upgrade Treece's time slot (and Hooker's if possible).

A legit DUI? If someone is arrested for DUI.....its because they where DUI. Cops don't go around arresting drivers for DUI for the heck of it. They have seen the bodies/been on the scene after a family gets killed.
In my 20's I used to speed everywhere I went, and invariably, would get lots of tickets. I was convinced the Cops where picking on me. I almost lost my job due to tickets.....when my best friend told me "if that I didn't speed, I wouldn't get anymore tickets". I told him he was full of sh*t, so we decided to bet on it. He won the bet...and I learned an invaluable lesson.
EA got off because of Lawyer plain and simple.

TSR was the **** ...in 2012. Lol. Now it's Swain and that's pretty much the only good show to listen to.

We don't know if EA got off. Again, the only thing that has been reported is that he was arrested.

Cops arrest innocent people all the time. Example - Man With BAC of 0.00 Arrested and Charged With DUI

You don't seem like a very bright or informed person. You make a lot of assumptions without fact or merit.

Your right to a degree....I don't know if EA got off, just suspect it.
I never claimed to be bright ( thank god), but I do know that Cops don't just around arresting innocent people. That type of mentality, of Police officers going around arresting innocent people, is not something I believe in.
LOL---"EA must be innocent...he's a VFL". Darn cops..
