People who don't read comics would be so confused. And wouldn't it be hard to do since they insinuated that JGL was Robin?
They said his real name was Robin at at the end as a nod to the mythology but JGL's character was completely made up for the movie. Although he was kind of an amalgam of a couple of Robins.
There has been a couple of times when the original Robin, Dick Grayson, picked up the Batman mantle. So it can work.
My personal opinion is that it works in comics and maybe even television for others to wear the Batman cowl temporarily but for the movies it has to be Bruce Wayne. The secret identity of some characters are just as iconic as the costumes they wear.

Bruce told Robin in TDKR that the point of Batman was that it could be anyone. If Justice League is like the Avengers, then it needs to be JGL. I would not be into a rebooted Batman just for a JL movie. Besides, Marvel beat them to the punch. It already feels like a cheap imitation to me as it is. A new Batman would completely turn me off.
But I'm just one person.
The movie will be directed by Zack Snyder, and they are looking to release it in 2015!
This will basically be the sequel to Man of Steel and help pave the way for Justice League. Henry Cavill is set to reprise his role as Superman, but there's no word on who will play Batman in the new film.
The studio also has set tentative plans to develop a Flash movie for 2016 and Justice League for 2017. As we already reported the movie will be written by David Goyer.
