Christians have been saying that for 2000 years when things get bad - through plagues, wars, famines, tyranny, etc. I got news for you - every day something bad happens somewhere on Earth - and Jesus hasn't come back yet. I can't even count how many times Christians mistakenly thought Christ's return was imminent. Remember "No one knows the day or the hour..."

Time to face reality and pray for this world.

Face what reality?

I didn't say tomorrow and there are things that have to happen before Christ comes back that have not happened yet so it doesnt matter if people said he was coming back.
The Bible clearly gives a list that must happen and not all of it has even occurred yet but we are getting much closer to the list being fulfilled.

Reality is at some point Christ is coming back.

I dont think it happens in my lifetime but I do believe it happens in my kids.

I also never once stated it was happening now. But it will happen at some point.

If you believe otherwise then you need to face reality.

I also pray for the world and myself all the time. I pray to be a better human being which anyone who reads my post can clearly see I need Jesus just as much as the next guy and am a sinner only saved by Grace.

Well, again, I can do what I want with my posts. You might want to wait 5 seconds before snapping to give us one of your less than intelligent responses.

Are u pro abortion?

thou shalt not shed innocent blood is a commandment.

Electric: what do you believe about the return of Jesus? Is it imminent? All you do is throw up jpegs and have silly avatars but never tell your story. Can you actually write what you think about something?

Paul taught the Thessalonian church to live as though Christ's return was imminent. Again, you seem to be treating it as a bad thing to do so.

You are one of the worst examples of a Christian I’ve ever seen . You are however a prime example of why people get turned off by Christians claiming to be Christian.
Any Christian who tries to predict Christ's return isnt a Christian. Most who predict the ond of the world are more occultists than Christian.

So the scientist back in times who tried but didnt have the technology yet were occultist?

No, but you're comparing two different things. Somebody predicting the end of the world or Christ's returning is completely different.

Are u pro-death penalty?

Wow. Way to avoid the question there skippy.

But I will answer your question...

BIBLE says thou shalt not shed innocent blood NOT thou shalt not kill.

Until the age of understanding, which a child has not reached yet, they are still innocent in Gods eyes. So murder of a child goes against this law.

An execution of a murderer who has past the age of understanding would not fall under innocent.

But I personally am not for the death penalty as it could potentially take away time that a person would still have to accept Christ if it was not for them being executed.

So I personally am not for the death penalty.

See....that's called not dodging. You might wanna try it sometime.

And what if we execute an innocent person? It's been done before. Whose head is that sin on? Answer: you and me and everyone in that state or the US.

Per Romans 13, it'd actually be on the gov't's head(s), since it was to them God gave the sword and responsibility to instill fear and meed justice. Per OT administration of the death penalty, it would only be on your/his head if you/he bore false witness to try to get an unjust death penalty.

I mean... Biblically speaking, that is.
