Just heard he was coming back to UT on scholarship. Former RB at UT and currently at MTSU. Can anyone confirm this?

Why not give him a scholarship, as we can't fill our roster with recruits for another couple of years? No reason not to use those spots on transfers and gambles in the meantime. Turn lemons into lemonade.

We'll be very close to having a full roster at the end of this class and will definitely be full after 2012. No reason to throw away scholarships...

Scholarships are one year deals. Walk-ons should know their schollies will be pulled if we're close to capacity.

True as well. But This kid wouldn't be "considered" a walk on. So by pulling the scholorship it would be somewhat of an ass hole move, but does happen all the time in this dog eat dog world of college football

Can't think of any.

Tyler Wolf - Will probably start in the MCB unless JJ gets back. He's a senior anyway.

Minor Bowens - Senior this year so won't be back either.

Nick Guess - Our long snapper & a senior next year. I would think he would stay on scholarship next year.

Take into account, as well, current walk-ons that might earn a scholarship. My guess if Joseph Ayres does well this off season he might be placed on one.
