Nice, I thought it was 81, but maybe I'm wrong. Do you remember a player named Keith Davis, who later played at UT? I remember going to watch him as a kid with my dad.

It was 81, my sophomore year. We had good chances in 82-84, but Gallatin knocked us out in the quarter finals in 82 and 83 and Hamilton beat us in the semis in 84.

Lol, KD is a good friend of mine. He loves sporting that '85 SEC Championship/Sugar Bowl ring. Yes, VOL N NC, you are correct, but he is still pretty quick for being in his mid 40's.

As I recall, Keith was great at catching the ball on a short pass out of the backfield....always a huge gain. Have not seen that type of success with that play since his days at TN....great back to watch.

My brother had both academic and athletic scholarship when he played baseball in college.

Baseball is a different animal.

They give partial athletic scholarships.

They have to divide 12, I think, scholarships up between the baseball team
